Troy Everett is a classically trained multi-instrumentalist composer, producer, and musician living in LA. Born and raised in DC, Troy started his career at the age of 5 with the DC Youth Orchestra, playing viola. Just three years later he began studying under Tsuna Sakamoto, a violist for the National Symphony Orchestra. Classically trained in piano, Troy was able to study the drums and later the guitar from a young age, eventually learning to play over 11 instruments. At the age of 16, Troy attended the prestigious Meadowmount School of Music to hone his skills even further. Troy continued his studies at the University of Maryland under the tutelage of soloist and chamber musician Katherine Murdock.
Over the past fifteen years, Troy has been writing and developing his own sound, producing albums for national and international artists. He has also gained credits as a session musician and composer for BBC’s Death in Paradise, the film Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea, and numerous short films and commercials.
